Vasishta Yoga is an immense poem of more than 28,000 verses - many times the Bible - written in India in the ninth century in the perfect language, Sanskrit.
Although known and revered in India by all sages, although translated into Persian and source of Thousand and One Nights, this text-universe, unusual remains almost unknown. An Indian monk condensed him in less than two thousand verses. It is this jewel of radical and humanist spirituality that we offer, for the first time, to the French-speaking public.
Its readers, old as well as modern, have sought to connect these Thousand and One Nights philosophies to a school, or even a religion.
It was in vain. It is clear that this poem is unclassifiable, even if it conveys a non-dualistic message: the world, our terrors and our idols are made of the stuff of dreams. In truth, the world is the Immense (brahman), the ineffable mystery, the Good beyond good and evil, and our Self, our true nature.
The purpose of this therapy is to awaken the conscience, to make it recognize its freedom of always, so that it enjoys its powers fully, instead of suffering from them. The whole is made up of stories and tales rich in teachings of wisdom and meditation.
A masterful text finally translated, an essential key to enter the oriental wisdom!
