The Bhagavad Gita, is the essence of Vedic Indian wisdom. Like a perpetual source of knowledge, it has intrigued the philosophical spirit of men and women throughout the world. Grasping the most philosophical of known dialogues of humanity, it recounts the speech given by the Lord Krishna to Arjuna, being hesitant in fighting against their own family, facing their adversary on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. A speech about the science of self-realisation, it is a question of the time in life for them to suddenly feel the necessity of questioning their duty.
Compiled in 18 chapters and 700 Shlokas, a realisation of important concepts are detailed, such as yoga karma – Transcendental knowledge, Dhyana Yoga – The knowledge of supreme truth, supreme realisation, the wealth of the Absolute, universal form, of the service of prayers, of nature, consciousness and joy, divisions of faith, the perfection and renunciation and more. Packed in a compact unit of two volumes, the verses chosen on the album try hard to present supreme spiritual mysteries and the secrets of the Gita, in a style that is simple and elegant. Sung by SP Balasubramanium in Sanskrit and translated into English, it is an attempt to grasp the unfathomable ocean of wisdom that is found in this holy Scripture.

PROLOGUE: The Bhagavad-Gita is the eternal message of the Lord himself and the Word of God becomes the path of epiphany for all, without distinction of class, belief, age and sex, or of social level in society. It is about an ensemble of literature itself, containing a code of discipline, a social and ethical philosophy of relationships and a speculative though about problems and their solutions. Fundamentally, the Gita preaches three things. Firstly – doing your duty to the best of your ability without waiting for results, on the other hand – believing that God is also present in all human beings, and the third – the ultimate goal of all mortals is to reach the salute.
The most noble of Scriptures is the greatest of the Sagas, the Gita is bound to show the light and happiness to all who listen attentively to each syllable of the knowledge contained within it.
