The Fleur de Sel we use is exceptionally pure, naturally white, uncrushed, and unwashed. Guérande Fleur de Sel retains all its richness in trace elements and is purer and finer than coarse salt.
Use a pinch of salt per Neti Pot.

There is no rule regarding the quantity of fleur de sel to use. If you do not put enough, the pH of the water may make the practice uncomfortable, but without risk. If you put too much fleur de sel, the liquid will be very rich in trace elements, minerals, etc. But overdosing may sting a little, again there is no risk. The ideal is to use a small teaspoon, well filled, or half a dessert spoon.
